What is the refund and withdrawal policy?

Unless otherwise stated, there are no cash refunds or transfers. Withdrawal requests submitted in writing 30+ days before the event receive a 75% credit. Withdrawals 5-29 days prior due to injury/emergency may receive a 50% credit at discretion. No credit within 4 days of the event. Credits are valid for one year and are single-use.

Can I bring my dog to the event?

No, pets are not allowed on course at most Aravaipa races. If permitted at the venue, they must be leashed and supervised. Service animals are an exception, but contact organizers beforehand to confirm course access.

How is the course marked?

Courses are typically marked with orange ribbon flagging with black polka dots and reflective medallions, visible day or night. Laminated signs mark junctions and turns. Blue and white checkerboard flagging indicates a wrong turn.

Most races begin at 9:00 AM MST daily from December 28th to January 2nd. The 100 KM starts at 9:15 AM on Dec 28th, and the Last Person Standing event begins at 12:00 PM on December 31st.
