- Parking: The visitors' car park is located at Salzburger Str. 24, 83471 Berchtesgaden and is charged. There are also about four free bus parking spaces next to the road in front of the cash desk at Bergwerkstr. 83. 12 charging stations are available at the Contipark Salzbergwerk car park.
- Accessibility: A visit to the visitor mine by wheelchair users is unfortunately not possible due to obstacles. Persons with walking disabilities may visit if accompanied by a carer. Rollators are not permitted. Mental disabilities are generally possible with a carer. On-site supervisor decides on entry. Claustrophobic individuals should not visit. Free Wi-Fi is available in front of the entrance.
